OUR HISTORY

The Princeton University Wildcats is a student-led
a cappella group founded in 1987 by Bernie Bowman '89 and Collin Holbert '90. Based on our founding song, "Respect", by Aretha Franklin, the Wildcats strive to bring a unique, empowered, and vibrant sound to Princeton's arches. 30 years later, the Wildcats remain dedicated to our passion for music, our commitment to the community, and our respect for one another.
When we aren't performing in one of the many arches on campus, you can find us practicing our repertoire for the new school year during our September Beach Week, bringing our music around the world on our annual Fall Tour, partnering with a variety of other student groups for performances on campus, and spreading our music and attitude at local events.

OUR MISSION

The Wildcats are a dynamic a cappella group composed of confident, vibrant, and professional singers who strive to redefine a cappella, reflect the spirit of Princeton, and promote diversity and empowerment.
